Summary
Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no cookies, no JavaScript-based analytics, and no third-party trackers on this site. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs and surfaces aggregated traffic statistics derived from them, as described below.
What the site itself collects
Nothing actively. The site runs no client-side data collection — no scripts that read cookies, write to localStorage, fingerprint your browser, or send analytics events. Whatever you type into a calculator stays in your browser (and possibly in your URL bar, if you choose to share a configured calculator link).
How calculations work
All calculator inputs and outputs live in your browser. When you share a configured calculator URL — for example, a loan calculator with the principal and rate encoded as query parameters — those values stay in the URL itself and are never sent to our server, except as part of the normal HTTP request your browser makes to load the page.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies. We do not write to localStorage or sessionStorage. Your browser's URL bar is the only place that retains anything you type into a calculator.
Third-party requests
None. All assets used by this site are served from the same domain you are reading this page on. Your browser does not make any cross-origin requests to load NumberTruth.
Hosting analytics
NumberTruth is hosted on a managed web hosting provider (Hostinger), which sees standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp — as part of normal hosting operations.
Hostinger's control panel surfaces aggregated traffic statistics derived from that data, including page-view counts, unique visitor estimates, and the geographic distribution of visitors. The site operator may review those aggregated statistics. We do not have access to individual visitor sessions or anything more granular than what the hosting control panel exposes.
We do not install JavaScript-based analytics, telemetry, or tracking code on the site itself.
Children
NumberTruth is suitable for general audiences and does not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, advertising, or any form of data collection, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will change.
