Formula
value_to = value_from × (factor_from ÷ factor_to), where each factor expresses the unit in meters.
Worked example
5 m × (1 ÷ 0.3048) ≈ 16.404 ft
Notes
All factors are exact SI values where possible. The international foot is defined as exactly 0.3048 m.
